Our belief and mission is to protect the nature we have borrowed from our children at least in the condition in which we received it from our grandparents. Peace and a humane life in every area of life are the essence of our company’s sustainability policy.

Our Guidelines for a Cleaner and More Sustainable Future

Our developing and changing world faces many global problems, including climate change. At İletim Mühendislik we do our best to tackle these problems, and we encourage each of our employees to make positive contributions to the world and do their best.

To enable a more environmentally friendly ecosystem, the world is using energy in new ways — from vehicles to aircraft, from homes to factories — and İletim Mühendislik is well positioned to support this transition. We believe that by 2035 at least 50% of the electricity consumed in the world will come from renewable sources.

We always emphasise the importance of identifying key issues and aligning reporting with the sustainability strategy. In this context, innovation is one of the most important elements, and by encouraging it, creating value and managing risks while reducing our footprint, we want to have the greatest possible impact on sustainability. To do this, we believe it is necessary to identify the key issues and align them with our sustainability and reporting strategy.

Taking environmental factors into account, we see it as our duty to continue serving our clients with the best systems and the latest technologies, supported by our up-to-date research on smart systems, power electronics, advanced power distribution and circuit protection.

İletim Mühendislik Sustainability Strategy

In light of ecological standards and the goals of a developing world, we are moving forward with determination, drawing on our experience of making the most environmentally compatible advances. To help us reach our goal, we have developed a sustainability strategy that multiplies our impact through the participation and development of our employees.

Within the environmental sustainability strategies we have adopted as our mission, we share our operating guidelines on topics such as generating clean energy, pioneering the creation of sustainable cities, taking part in climate planning to prevent human-induced climate change, improving water quality and accountability.

Our goal, in line with sectoral and global standards, is to improve people’s quality of life and the environment by combining new technologies with professional experience in the reporting, design, procurement and installation of electrical energy. We build our sustainability strategies with the strongest functions through the electrical projects whose strategy we define.

Our sustainability strategy activities can be summarised under three main headings:

Within the rules we have adopted as our mission, our ethical values consist of the core ethical policies that form the foundation of our culture. All our employees and managers have a personal responsibility to read, know and comply with these principles while performing their duties. Through our policies, we are committed to business integrity, the protection of whistleblowers, the fight against corruption and more.

The surveys we conduct show that our employees are very satisfied with our sustainable working relationships. Knowing that our employees are happy and satisfied to work with us, in line with the importance and value we place on our work, serves as a compass for us in overcoming every challenging process in today’s conditions.

On Employee Engagement

Considering our professional business experience and working strategies, finding and recruiting current and future talent is critical to our growth and success. Further evidence that our employees are happy to work with us is that they stay with us for a long time and that our colleagues remain with us permanently until retirement.

For as long as it exists, İletim Mühendislik will maintain, as a sustainability strategy, the goal of receiving at least 70% positive responses from its employees. When a client we have served works with us again at a later date, we can deliver much more efficient and higher-quality work with a team that knows that company well. We encourage our employees to take sustainability measures at home, at work and in their communities. After embracing our goals, our employees not only bring them into their own lives but also contribute to achieving our goals by generating new ideas.
